The ILO proposes designing and putting into practice vocational training programmes which, together with employment policies, will address job creation to achieve decent work for all.

In June 2005 and based on the resolution arising from the 93rd International Labour Conference, the ILO set itself the goal of achieving decent work for young people. This objective is key to making progress in the eradication of poverty, and to achieving sustainable development, growth and well-being for all.
